About Me

What do you say when you’re trying to talk about yourself? My name is Sarah. I’m in my thirties. I’m single. I’m a registered nurse. I can be both obnoxious and sarcastic and I love staying at home, avoiding major social situations. Why start a blog you ask? I realized sometime within the last few months that I was talking about the future a lot. Each time I discussed the future I talked about a list of things I wanted to try, accomplish, see, and do in my life. Then each of these would be followed with why I chose to wait to do them. Whether it be I don’t want to go on a trip by myself, I was too nervous, or a list of other various reasons.  I realized I was waiting for so many things that I wasn’t really living. Since 2009 I have been diligently working toward paying off my student loans. So much so that’s all I’ve been doing. Work, eat, sleep, repeat. At the end of 2015 I had had enough.

I decided 2016 was going to be the year of adventure. The year I do things for me. The year I stop waiting for everything to happen and make it happen. Then I decided to write about it. If you read it and like it great. If you don’t that’s fine too. I hope you will enjoy and maybe even be inspired by my adventures and choose to start your own. I hope you’ll maybe even laugh a little at my quirky sarcastic antics. Either way, these are The Adventures of a Sarcastic Introvert.
